Information

In 1900 this year, the first patent on tower cranes for construction was issued. In 1923, prototypes of modern tower cranes were made. In 1930, Germany began mass production of tower cranes and used them for construction.

German Schwing was established in 1934. It is the earliest concrete equipment manufacturer and the originator of trailer pumps, truck-mounted pumps, and pump trucks. It has a number of patents and is a pioneering enterprise that has played a huge role in the development of concrete equipment.

In 1957, the world's first split concrete pump was manufactured by Schwing Company and began to be put on the market. Eight years later, in 1965, Schwing Company once again introduced an on-board pump with trans-epochal significance, using a tall Mercedes-Benz as the chassis.

This modification greatly improved the flexibility of the concrete pump and greatly stimulated Schwing's enthusiasm for research and development. So in 1968, three years later, Schwing Company made a bolder attempt. The crane boom that had been used in large-scale construction at that time was installed on the truck pump. There was no remote control operation, only a simple manual cloth function. The simplest pump truck was born.

However, this first pump truck has not been greatly promoted because of its complicated operability and flexibility, and has not been promoted and used. The Schwing people were not discouraged by this. They developed a folding boom pump truck in two years. In 1970, a pioneering pump truck rolled off the assembly line, which truly set off a revolutionary poem in the history of architecture. Schwing has become the originator of concrete pumping equipment technology. With these multiple patented technologies, it maintains the global leading position in concrete pumping technology.

Elephant company was established in 1958, began to produce plastering machines, and began to be the world's hegemon for quite some time.

In 1983, the first elephant concrete pump truck appeared on construction sites in China. Since then, China has also opened the era of Chinese pumping.

Since then, although the main force of concrete pump trucks has ranged from Schwing to Elephant, to China's Sany and Konecranes, the basic structure has never changed significantly. Schwing's pump truck has become a classic of the times.
